Award-winning TENTE castors: Levina and Integral
Clear lines and an unostentatious design language attracted the Universal Design award
Two TENTE products - the Levinaplastic castor and the Integral smart castor - have already received the Universal Design award. The Levina impressed the jury with its multi-functionality. It is remarkable for its perfect balance of impeccable design and state-of-the-art technology. The existing TENTE design was taken up and developed further, without discarding the core qualities, of course, – a clear and minimal design language. The castor is made of high quality plastic and is therefore largely resistant to all detergents and disinfectants. This makes it ideal for use in the food industry. Its solid housing ensures a long service life and was also instrumental in winning the Universal Design award.
The Integral smart is a further development of the Integral hospital bed castor, which was first created in 1998. It performed well in the Universal Design award by virtue of its simple, elegant appearance and unostentatious design language, which allow it to blend perfectly with the overall appearance of the various hospital beds. The castor technology also meets the exacting requirements of the medical sector, where safety and environmental issues are becoming ever more important as workloads increase.
